With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards and the continuous advancement of science and technology, more and more types of intelligent and technological home appliances continue to appear and begin to enter people’s lives, slowly improving people’s living standards and liberating Time and energy for complicated housework. For example, sweeping robots are a very user-friendly appearance. People are getting busy at work. If they leave early and return late, they will not do housework in time. There is a lot of dust in the house. The sweeping robot has become a good helper for us to do housework and can ensure home cleanliness. Hygiene, and save the owner a lot of time and energy.
The market demand for sweeping robots has increased. In order to increase production, it is also necessary to ensure that the product quality is passed, combined with a 3D scanner to do reverse design and drawing, and design a more beautiful, delicate and easy-to-use sweeping robot.
3D Scanning Reverse Solution for Robot Sweeping Shell (Blue Light PTS Photographic 3D Scanner)
Customer demand:
1. Scanning object: the shell of the sweeping robot
2. Customer demand: Quickly acquire the 3D model of the sweeping robot and carry out reverse design, which requires high accuracy and directly provide 3D entity diagram
3. Current difficulties that customers need to solve:
The shell of the sweeping robot requires high precision, beautiful appearance, traditional forward design drawing, slow efficiency, difficult to obtain the complete data of complex parts structure, product processing precision is difficult to ensure.
1. Preparation
First of all, surface treatment of scanned samples shall be carried out:
1) Because the 3D scanner uses optical method to scan the object, so some objects reflective surface, light transmission or absorption of the object need to do surface treatment spray imaging agent.
2) Paste the marking points. The stitching of marking points is performed by the software algorithm. The 3D scanning system needs to superimpose the common markers identified between the two scans to make the two scans exist in a unified coordinate system, so as to achieve complete data Mosaic
2. Scan to obtain 3D data
To scan the casing of the sweeping robot, our technical engineer uses blue light PTS photo-type 3D scanner (PTS-E) to scan and obtain 3D data of the sweeping robot.
3. Trimming the 3D data
After scanning, obtain the stl three-dimensional data of the vacuum cleaner shell, trimming and removing the noise.
4. Reverse design drawing
The housing of the sweeping robot is used for 3D reverse design and drawing, and the STL data scanned by the camera-type 3D scanner is imported into the reverse drawing software for drawing.
Highlights of the blue-ray PTS camera-based 3D scanner used in the 3D scanning reverse solution of the sweeping robot shell:
1. Non-contact blue light 3D scanner
2. Quickly obtain 3D data of scanning robot shell
3. Can directly import 3D reverse software to draw pictures
4. Can be directly connected to 3D printer
5. Fast speed and high precision
Summary of the 3D reverse solution for the sweeping robot shell:
Using Jingyixun’s blue-light PTS camera 3D scanner is non-contact measurement. When collecting surface data of the sweeping robot shell, the collection speed is fast and can form "point cloud" data. It is convenient to use, high in collection accuracy, and has fewer dead angles. There is no harsh requirement for outside light.
Using a blue-ray PTS camera-style 3D scanner can quickly obtain the three-dimensional data of the sweeping robot, and directly modify the design on the three-dimensional digital model according to customer needs to ensure that the full-scale details of the sweeping robot shell can be reflected, simplify the traditional design process, save time, and improve the design effectiveness.
At the same time, reverse software can be used to modify the design on the three-dimensional digital model of the sweeping robot shell to efficiently develop serialized products.
